The University of Science & Technology Chittagong (USTC) is a private research university located in Chattogram, Bangladesh, near Foy's Lake. Established in 1989 and upgraded to a full university in 1992, USTC is known for its strong academic focus in medicine, pharmaceutical sciences, engineering, and business administration, attracting a significant number of international students. It was the first certified private university by the University Grants Commission in Bangladesh.
