Université Montesquieu (Bordeaux IV) was a French university located in Pessac, a suburb of Bordeaux, known for its strong programs in law, political science, economics, and management. Established in 1995 as a successor to the former Law and Economics Faculty, it merged with Bordeaux 1 and Bordeaux 2 in 2014 to form the current University of Bordeaux. The Montesquieu campus continues to host programs in human and social sciences, including law, economics, and management, within the larger University of Bordeaux system.
