The University of Veterinary Medicine Hannover, Foundation (TiHo) is Germany's oldest and only independent veterinary university, founded in 1778 as the Roß-Arzney-Schule. Located in Hanover, it is a highly specialized research institution focused exclusively on veterinary medicine and related life sciences, encompassing six clinics, 17 institutes, and a Research Centre for Emerging Infections and Zoonoses.
