National Institute of Technology Agartala (NITA) is a centrally funded Institute of National Importance located in Jirania, on the outskirts of Agartala, Tripura, India. Established in 1965 as Tripura Engineering College and upgraded to an NIT in 2006, it is the premier engineering institute in Tripura and is known for its strong B.Tech engineering programs, particularly in Computer Science, Electrical and Electronics, and Electronics and Communication.
