Eastern Virginia Medical School (EVMS) is a public medical school in Norfolk, Virginia, now part of the Macon and Joan Brock Virginia Health Sciences at Old Dominion University. Established in 1973, EVMS is renowned for its community-oriented approach, reproductive medicine, and simulation/standardized-patient education. The campus includes Sentara Norfolk General Hospital, the region's only Level 1 trauma center, and the Children's Hospital of The King's Daughters.
