About

The Claremont Colleges are a unique consortium of seven independent institutions located in Claremont, California, about 35 miles east of Los Angeles. They comprise five undergraduate liberal arts colleges (Pomona, Scripps, Claremont McKenna, Harvey Mudd, and Pitzer) and two graduate universities (Claremont Graduate University and Keck Graduate Institute). This distinctive model, inspired by Oxford University, allows students to benefit from the resources of a larger university while enjoying the close-knit community and specialized focus of a small college.
